4 tbsp flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder (skip if you want a vanilla cake)
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
A small pinch of salt
Mix thoroughly with a fork to ensure there are no lumps.
Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients
Pour in:
3 tbsp milk
2 tbsp oil or melted butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Stir until the mixture is smooth and lump-free. If you’re using chocolate chips or Nutella, gently fold them in now.
Step 3: Microwave It
Place the mug or bowl in the microwave and heat on high for 60 to 90 seconds.
Keep an eye on it after the first minute. The cake should rise but not overflow.
Avoid overcooking – when the top looks set but slightly moist, it’s done.
✅ Tip: If you don’t have a microwave, you can steam the mixture in a ramekin or small bowl placed in boiling water on the stovetop for about 10-12 minutes with a lid on
